DESCRIPTION:Conference Objectives\nInternational Conference for Transporters-2015 aims to bring together leading transport industry officers\, researchers\, commercial drivers\, potential drivers and research scholars to exchange and share their experiences and research results about all aspects of Transportation Technology and on Road Safety and Freedom of the drivers while maintaining the safety of People\, Property and Information. It also provides the premier interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary forum for drivers\, planners\, researchers\, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations\, trends\, and concerns\, practical challenges encountered on the road and the solutions adopted in the field of Highway Transportation. \nTopics of the Conference:\n\nIncrease of driving hours of Service (HOS) per week for the peace of mind of the truckers\nFlexibility of maximum Wheelbase where LCV is permitted\nDrivers shortage in Canada and the United States.\nFreedom of Truckers from Inspections Stations unless in violation\nNo Pull-Over to Trucks unless solid reason is there\nTruckers contract disputes handled by State/Provincial Truckers Association or Boards\nTrucker’s laws should be made by/with Truckers who practically encounter on the road issues.\nAny other topics/ideas are welcome and need to be submitted during registration.\nProblems with Electronics Log books and solutions.\nNo On-road reset unless the driver wants to rest.\nTrucks Govt. Safety valid (for 12 month in MB) from any State mentioned/permitted in Apportioned Cab Card where truck is permitted to run legally and usually.\n\nFood and Accommodation:\nParticipants must arrange their own Food and Accommodation however there may be light snack and drinks during the event. We may provide you accommodation at a discount rate to early bird registrants who ask for accommodation.
